Wind Stength: F2-F4

Distance Covered:

Wobbled out and back in 5 knots; hard to uphaul in biggish chop. Wind increased to OK 144/8.5m then too much out into chop.
River now runs out about 50m from shore and bad 3 foot chop about 50m wide around mid-tide as SW wind kicked up; did not see this so much in NE winds. Beyond that wavelets were hard to sail into with big gear and Phil later on 5.7m was jumping well. Riding in was fun down wavelets. On outgoing tide the river current loops back round to run North by red buoy as I found out when I fell in and rapidly drifted towards it and could not push against board to water start. Some nice rides though felt a lot like currents were taking lift off fin. Ian, Mark D, Phil and Andy M out too. Roger rigged earlier but did not bother to sail as not enough then for 7.5m.
